Chevrolet Volt Achieved Award The Green Car of the Year
Los Angeles – On the first day of the Los Angeles Auto Show 2010 which took place November 17 to 28, electric cars made by General Motors (GM), Chevrolet Volt awarded with the Green Car of the Year. Volt aside a Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, and Nissan Leaf at the annual carpet initiated by the Green Car Journal since 2006’s.
“These awards validate the determination and promise as well as the Chevrolet team in offering an electric vehicle (for consumers,” said Joel Ewanick, Vice President of Marketing at GM, as reported by CNNMoney.com, Friday (19/11).
The jury that selects the most environmentally friendly car that happens experts from various backgrounds who are known to have high reputation in his field. Among them are, Jay Leno an arts worker who is also a car enthusiast, Jean Michael Costeau who was president of Ocean Futures Society, and Carroll Shelby a car modifier.
