Mitsubishi Launches The Hybrid SUV on 2013
Tokyo – Enchantment of hybrid and electric car market is so seductive world car makers. Car tech hybrid (combination of conventional engines and electric motors) and pure electric cars touted to be the future.
Because of this, manufacturers are now racing to develop two types of car. No exception of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. The news most brand as reported by International Business Times, Wednesday (24/11) calls, Mitsubishi will launch a variant of Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) hybrid in 2013.
“Development of a hybrid SUV SUV concept was inspired from Px-MiEV mat ever exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Show 2009,” said Yoshikazu Nakamura, Senior Executive Officer of Mitsubishi.
SUVs will be equipped with conventional engines 1600 cc and two electric motors. Conventional machine capable of spraying power 114 horsepower and 125 Newton meters of torque (Nm), while the two electric motors that powered 80.5 horsepower and torque of 200 Nm. Paired both produce power 194.5 horsepower and 325 Nm of torque.
